9th October 2013 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: NW Wind Stength: 25 - 30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 10ºC Sea Temperature: 15ºC Weather: Cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered: First windsurf session on ages so a little rusty, but well powered with my 5m sail and big wave board. There were a few kitesurfers out but I didn't recognise any of them - shows how long its been since I was on the beach regularly. Had some nice blasting through the waves though and soon got back into the swing of things with some good jumps and some nice gybes. A little chilly out of the water in my summer suit, but still really warm in the water. Kit looks a little worse for wear though thanks to the mice in the shed! |
